William Tovey

William Tovey is a member of the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla and is Director of the Department of Economic and Community Development for the Confederated Tribes in Pendleton, Oregon. Since 1990 Tovey has been involved in acquiring more than 30,000 acres of trust and fee properties both on and off the reservation. He was a project lead in developing the Tribe’s Wildhorse Casino and Resort and is working on the Coyote Business Park and state highway development. Tovey holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Idaho and serves on boards of a number of small business development agencies.
