Erin Dennis

Communications Specialist

Erin Dennis joined the Indian Land Tenure Foundation as communications specialist in 2007. In this capacity, Dennis helps to craft and convey the Foundation’s messages and plays a lead role in the planning, development and monitoring of all of the Foundation’s print, electronic and multimedia communications.

Prior to her current position, Dennis taught composition at South Dakota State University and tutored in the University’s writing center.  Before that, Dennis had been a research associate and assistant community liaison for Northwest Area Foundation. While at Northwest Area, she worked on Indian land tenure issues and provided technical assistance to the Indian Land Tenure Community during its strategic planning process.

Dennis holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in English from South Dakota State University.
