Village Earth Offers Online Native Strategic Land Planning Course


Village Earth, a global nonprofit organization that provides training and education on sustainable community development, is offering an online Native Strategic Land Planning Course through Colorado State University.

The course is aimed at students who are interested in community-based planning and development on American Indian land and covers all aspects of Indian land tenure and land use. It incorporates specific problem-solving and strategic land planning practices to research, develop, implement and evaluate land use decisions.

The course runs for five weeks, from January 18 – February 22, 2013. Tuition is $390 per person, though discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
