Trainings for Native American Producers and Landowners


Indian Land Tenure Foundation will be hosting a series of trainings for Native American landowners and agricultural producers May 20, 21 & 22, 2013 at Cheyenne River, Pine Ridge and Rosebud. The trainings are free to anyone who would like to attend and include lunch and other refreshments.

The schedule for the upcoming trainings is as follows:

May 20, 2013 – Cheyenne River
10 am – 3 pm, Fort Randall Casino, 38538 Sd Hwy 46, Lade Andes, SD 57356

May 21, 2013 – Pine Ridge
10 am – 3 pm, Oglala Lakota College, 3 Mile Creek Road, Kyle, SD 57752

May 22, 2013 - Rosebud
10 am – 3 pm, Sinte Gleska University,101 Antelope Lake Cir., Mission, SD 57555

Each training will include presentations on the following topics:

  • Reservation Land Management and the Cobell Buy-Back Program
  • Writing a Will and Estate Planning Under AIPRA
  • Conservation Reserve Program, Carbon Credit Markets and Your Indian Lands
