Act of March 3, 1901 (31 Stat. 1058)

Relevant Provisions: 
Rights of way; condemnations; powers of the secretary of the interior

Contains a provision authorizing the secretary of the interior to grant rights of way in the nature of easements across tribal and allotted lands for telephone and telegraph lines and offices. Also, contains a provision subjecting allotted lands to condemnation under the laws of the state or territory in which they are located. The money awarded as damages shall be paid to the allottee. See also Section 10 of the General Allotment Act.
